Chartered Secretaries Case Study

Authors: Hadyn Bennett, Martyn Jones

This official ICSA study text has been created to support students preparing for the Chartered Secretaries Case Study, the final module of the ICSA qualifying programme which is based on a single extended case study.

Case studies are an attempt to reconcile the need to test professionals in an exam format. Rather than setting an exam problem focussed on one area of the syllabus, students are presented with a realistic situation and asked to effectively identify which syllabus areas are relevant and apply knowledge and skills to recommend solutions to the problem.

This text provides everything necessary to preprare students for their case study and guide them through it successfully. The text makes practical suggestions of the kinds of research and study that students should carry out and provides worked examples of case material to help identify what the position of chartered secretary involves and what is expected of those who hold it.

Please note that this text is available only as an enhanced PDF.
