Become a registered member in public practice

Many chartered secretaries choose to work in public practice, offering to a range of services to all sorts of client organisations.

ICSA's Public Practice Scheme is designed to support and promote ICSA members who work as sole practitioners or in small partnerships. The scheme is open to all members based in the UK and Ireland.

Being part of the scheme costs just £126 + VAT per year and provides:

  • Accredited practitioner status
  • Certification
  • A listing, by region, on www.icsa.org.uk
  • Special discounted rates on professional indemnity insurance
