A one-day introduction to company law and its application to everyday business. 9.15am – 5pm. Central London.

Overview

This course walks delegates through the basics of company law using plain language and everyday examples. We cover the lifetime of the company, its legal obligations and its day to day business.

All delegates arrive at a similar level, and no prior knowledge is assumed.

  • The foundations of company law in the UK (Companies Act 2006)

Nigel Banerjee course leader

Nigel is a visiting lecturer at King's College London. He is the author of the ICSA Company Law Handbook and the general editor of Jordans' International Corporate Procedures. He contributes to Gore-Browne on Companies and the Butterworths Corporate Law Service.
