Diploma in Charity Management

Become an Affiliated member

Students who successfully complete the Diploma in Charity Management are eligible to become Affiliated members and continue to benefit from the knowledge and support of our governance and compliance community.


ICSA has a special recognition agreement with Cass Business School, offering an ICSA qualification to those registered on a Charity Master's Programme who successfully complete four specific modules.

Those wishing to apply for the Diploma must be registered one of Cass Charity Master's Programmes and have passed the following four modules:

  • Strategy, Diversity and Governance
  • Introduction to Learning and the Voluntary Sector
  • Resource Management
  • Marketing and Fundraising.

Those wishing to register for the Diploma pay an additional fee of £350 to ICSA, covering the certification and a year’s affiliate membership with ICSA.

This gives access to all ICSA's member-only resources and guidance notes, plus discounts on ICSA books, conferences and training courses. 


If you've completed the four required modules of a Cass Charity Master's Programme and want to apply to receive the ICSA Diploma in Charity Management, just follow these simple steps:

1. Complete the registration form

2. Organise payment

You can pay the fee in one of the following ways:

  • By cheque, made payable to ICSA, sent with your registration form
  • By credit or debit card – fill out a credit/debit card payment form and send this in with your registration form.

3. Send forms and payment

Once you've completed forms, please send them, with accompanying payment details, to:
