‘Work experience can give unique insights into the world of governance and secretaryship, as well as offering great inspiration to the next generation of governance professionals. I came to the world of governance in an unexpected midlife career change but work experience might have brought me there sooner’
Simon Osborne, CEO, ICSA: The Governance Institute
DMJ Insight Days supported by ICSA launched in September 2016 to raise the profile of the company secretarial profession amongst students and graduates.
Working with DMJ and innovative company secretarial teams, we set out to create new ways for people to experience the profession at a time of rising demand for company secretaries and governance professionals.
Since then, some of the UK’s leading companies have hosted events at their offices to showcase what being a company secretary entails. Together, we’ve already inspired over 500 students and graduates to secure their first role or embark on the ICSA qualification.
The 2019 Insight Days programme gives even more people the opportunity to discover governance through 12 unique events. What’s more, one participant will be chosen by the host organisation to receive a study or membership prize from ICSA.
