Sofa manufacturers try to avoid invalidation of a community trademark

Two global legal behemoths (in this case Weil Gotshal & Manges and DLA Piper) recently instructed heavyweight teams of barristers in the IPEC – the junior IP court – which is usually intended for small and medium companies, as well as individuals. If big businesses are using this court, then the judgements emanating from it should be considered with the respect they deserve.
