Amending mistakes in a company’s statutory register of members

All limited companies must keep registers of members in accordance with the Companies Act 2006 (CA 2006). In accordance with s113 CA 2006, the register should include names and addresses; the date each member became or ceased to be a shareholder; a statement of all shares held by each member; the number and class of each share; and the amount paid on the shares.

If there is an error made on details of such members, any rectification action would depend on the evaluation of its seriousness....
