UK court decision about online bookings and ‘unique opportunity’ contracts

In an important judgment before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, the commitments negotiated between Expedia, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and the Office for Fair Trading (OFT) were struck down as a result of the OFT’s failure to follow due process in considering the effects of the commitments on third party meta-search site, Skyscanner.
