Implementation of the damages directive into UK law

In November 2014, the EU passed Directive 2014/104 (the damages directive), which is designed to align procedures in member states on issues such as limitation periods and disclosure requirements. This is to make it easier for potential claimants to successfully bring proceedings to obtain recompense for a breach of competition law (Article 101/102 of the TFEU or national competition law applied in parallel to the same case under Article 3(1) of Regulation 1/2003).
