ICSA is accrediting the National Governance Association (NGA) Leading Governance Development for Clerks programme commencing this spring
The programme is based upon the new competency framework for clerking, which has been introduced as part of the Department for Education’s drive to professionalise the clerk’s role and raise the effectiveness of boards in all school and trust settings.
The programme involves face-to-face workshops with an experienced facilitator, interactive e-learning modules, a dedicated mentor, peer-to-peer support and a school-based project, and leads to the award of a Level 3 Certificate in the Clerking of School and Academy Boards. Enrolments are now open.
Funding is available worth £350 and can be used against the full cost of the programme. The full cost of the programme is £425, however if the funding is taken up the programme cost is only £75.
