As the dust settles over the 2015 UK General Election, there are a number of uncertainties that will impact corporate governance

Since the 2015 UK general election, attention has shifted to the Queen’s Speech delivered on 27 May and the Conservative Party’s election manifesto.

The manifesto does not mention corporate governance by name. However, it refers to a commitment to push for fairer tax – for example, to lead international efforts to ensure global companies pay their fair share. It also mentions that companies failing to put in place measures to stop economic crime, may be prosecuted in the criminal courts....
