Banking sector reforms show no sign of slowing down

The FCA has announced plans to launch its first wholesale market study into investment and corporate banking ‘to assess whether competition in the sector is working properly’. This announcement comes on top of its current investigation of the savings market and the Competition and Markets Authority review of personal current accounts and banking services to small and medium-sized enterprises.
