Assistant/Deputy Secretary - Glos

Due to an upcoming retirement our client is now looking for someone with sound meetings/minuting experience to join to provide broad ranging Secretarial support  - reporting to the Finance Director/Co Secretary. The main purpose of the role is:

  • To provide a full Company Secretariat service to the organisation (and its subsidiary companies)
  • To provide Secretariat and organisational support to the Leadership Team and the Board of Management
  • Work towards full Company Secretary responsibilities, deputise for Finance & Risk Director as formal Company Secretary.

Role would suit part/fully qualified chartered secretary with the following qualities;

  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, external contacts, including regulators & advisers
  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude with proven ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to manage own time and workload
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Methodical and well organised
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
