Company Secretarial Assistant
Do you have an interest in, or knowledge of company law and/or governance? Are you trustworthy and experienced in keeping sensitive information confidential? Do you have strong attention to detail and can write clearly and concisely? If so, then this role may be for you.
You will work with the Company Secretary to provide administrative support services to our Trustees and Committees, including the arranging of meetings; preparation of meeting agendas and board papers; minute taking and maintaining statutory registers.
About the team
As Company Secretarial Assistant, you’ll be joining a small, but passionate and committed, team that covers all aspects of Governance, Legal and Compliance. This team sits within the Finance and Resources directorate, working to support activities throughout the charity.
This role will offer a wide level of exposure to the company secretarial function within a Charity and is an ideal entry level role for someone who has either just started, or is looking to start their Chartered Governance qualification.
The ideal candidate will have:
• The proven ability in successfully working with stakeholder groups at all levels of an organisation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• The ability to gain the trust and confidence of senior members of an organisation
• Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
