Governance Manager (Full Time or Part Time)
One of the world’s most iconic retail brands are seeking a Governance Manager to join their London based legal team. Seeking a candidate who can assist the business in collaborating across all areas of business to ensure it is making informed commercial decisions. This newly created role will function within the legal team and will report into the Head of Legal.
You will be responsible for developing and embedding governance framework for the group and working across several different parts of the business in relation to governance matters. This role can be moulded around you, where the Company are offering the flexibility to work either full-time or part time based on your working style and needs.
You will be able to build on existing Company Secretarial skills, such as assisting with annual accounts, ensuring compliance with modern slavery legislation, and overall simply ensuring outstanding governance, compliance and best practice across the business.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively at all levels across the business
- Expert knowledge of the 2006 companies act, as well as experience of the Modern Slavery legislation
- Knowledge of corporate governance within a large private corporate company, with experience with a large group structure with UK and overseas subsidiaries.
