Company Secretariat Manager
A new opportunity has arisen for a confident and proactive individual with company secretary support experience to take a lead role in supporting the wholly owned companies of the Blackpool Council group.
Working within the Council’s Democratic Governance service, the position involves acting on behalf of the Company Secretary at board and committee meetings, co-ordinating the service level agreements with companies and related secretariat support as well as assisting in developing robust governance policies and practices.
You should be an excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills, show an aptitude for influencing change and have confidence in presenting at an executive level. Substantial knowledge and experience of company governance law and practice is essential along with good organisation skills and political awareness.
