Pepper’s Irish operation is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. The Pepper Ireland board comprises local Executives, Group Non-Executive Directors and two Independent Non-Executive Directors.

About this Role

The Company Secretary is an officer of the company and one of their primary roles is corporate governance. They provide advice to members of the board and the executive team to ensure the company remains legally compliant. They also ensure the administration of the company is run smoothly.

Location: Dublin

Key Responsibilities        

  1. Organise, schedule diaries, attend and comprehensively minute and retain all key business meetings, e.g. Board, ARC, ERC & Operational Communications Meetings.
  2. Liaise with all relevant functional stake holders to prepare relevant documentation and presentations for all relevant meetings.
  3. Prepare, track and follow up on all action point list matters arising from meetings
  4. Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support and guidance to the Executive Committee
  5. Continuous improvement of company secretarial processes
  6. Execute important documentation on behalf of the company.
  7. Maintain company registers and company secretarial records along with company formations
  8. Prepare and file documents in relation to relevant company secretarial responsibilities
  9. Ensure all other requirements of the Companies Acts or other relevant legislation are met
  10. Work with Executive Committee where relevant on corporate governance/company secretarial matters.
  11. Continuous improvement of company secretarial processes

Skills & Experience:

  1. Qualified with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators
  2. 3+ years in a similar role in Financial Services


  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional organisational and time management skills
  2. Discretion when handling confidential information
  3. Works well in a team environment, is self-motivated and able to manage own workload
  4. Flexible, organized and performance focused while prioritising and balancing business needs
  5. A keen eye for detail and good knowledge of company law
  6. The ability to manage competing deadlines
  7. Good numerical ability
