Company Secretary

We are seeking a Company Secretary on behalf of our client, a financial services business based in Surrey. You will be providing Company Secretarial support to the business’s main board, committees, regulated entity boards and its related committees, and the executive committee, by delivery of a high quality and effective company secretarial and corporate governance service.   
Accountabilities include: 

  • Providing on-going Company Secretarial support to Main Board and Board Committees, including planning, calendar and agenda setting, meeting logistics and arrangements, Board paper preparation and co-ordination, circulation of papers via Diligent, meeting attendance, minutes and follow up actions. 
  • Monitoring compliance with corporate governance, legal and regulatory requirements to provide governance support and guidance to Board and Committees.  
  • Co-ordinating the annual performance evaluation of the Board, Committees and Directors and supporting the delivery of the action plan.

The successful candidate will have professional qualification on appointment (ICSA or lawyer). You will have outstanding leadership and influencing skills as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage projects/actions. If the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner, we’d like to hear from you.
