The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators maintains a presence in the Isle of Man through its local Branch Council. The Council strives to enhance the presence of the ICSA within the Isle of Man, to support members and students throughout their careers and study programmes, as qualified or aspiriing chartered secretaries.
The Council is maintained in accordance with a strict set of guidelines, or constitution. The constitution is bespoke to the Council's needs and operations and allows for a flexible approach towards providing support to and enhancing the presence of members and students of the ICSA in the Isle of Man.
The Council works alongside other Branches of the ICSA to ensure a consistent and applied approach across all areas, as well as working with the ICSA on the development of new programmes, products and reports.

Christine graduated with a BA honours degree in history from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. She then qualified as a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel & Development, an Associate of the Chartered Secretaries & Administrators and as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Christine is currently Deputy Director (Change) in Social Security, a Division of the Isle of Man Government Treasury. Previously, Christine carried out a variety of managerial roles, in HR, pensions, customer service, estates management, PR and marketing for British Telecom, Manx Telecom and Isle of Man Post Office.
Christine became a Council Member in March 2013.
Elaine returned to the Island after obtaining an honours degree in American Studies with International Study from the University of Nottingham in 2004.
She was admitted as an Associate Member of ICSA in 2007 and in 2012 qualified as a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Elaine has worked in the finance sector on the Isle of Man for over ten years, joining local trust and corporate service provider Abacus Trust Company Limited in 2017.
Born on the Isle of Man, Francesca was educated locally at St Ninian’s High School.
After leaving school, Francesca began working for Integrated Capabilities Limited as a Company & Trust Administrator and successfully completed the Isle of Man Offshore certificate in administration. After completing this, she commenced her professional studies and qualified as a Chartered Secretary. She now works at IQE Limited as a Client Relationship Manager and has over 10 years experience in the industry.
Francesca became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in 2011.
Sandra moved to the Isle of Man as a child where she completed her secondary education.
After gaining an HND in Business Finance from the Isle of Man College of Further Education in 1994, Sandra joined KPMG as a Trainee Chartered Secretary and gained her qualification in 1997. In 1999 she left to join Simcocks Advocates as the Corporate Services Manager. During 2000, the Senior Partner of Simcocks set up his own law firm and Sandra joined him to manage the corporate arm of the firm, Atlantic Corporate Managers Limited. Caledonian took over Atlantic Corporate Managers in 2003 where Sandra continued to act as the Corporate Services Manager until 2006 when she was promoted to Managing Director.
In 2000 Sandra became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2008.
Sandra has been a member of Council and the Programme Committee since 2009.
Julia graduated with a BA Honours degree in English Studies from Sheffield Hallam University and qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Secretaries & Administrators in 2011. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Julia currently works as an HR Consultant for a local HR Consultancy company, SmartHR Solutions. Previously, she carried out a roles as an HR Manager and Assistant Company Secretary.
Julia became a Council Member in 2017.
