Message from the President - December 2015

Welcome to the latest edition of Agenda.

CPD Events

We continue to hold CPD events on all aspects of corporate governance and company law. Please check out our website for details of upcoming events.

Irish Region AGM and annual lunch

Our AGM and annual lunch was held on Friday 20 November 2015 at FIRE Restaurant. The lunch was fully booked and I would like to extend my thanks to our sponsors, Investec and to all of those who attended.

New members for the Irish Region Council and subcommittees

‘Do not ask what your Institute can do for you but what you can do for your Institute.’ We are currently looking for new members to join our Council and subcommittees. If you are interested in applying to either our Council or one of our subcommittees, please contact me at president@icsacharteredsecretaries.ie.

Companies Act 2014

For updates on the new Act, please access the ‘knowledge and guidance’ tab on our website.

Blogs

There have been a number of blogs posted over the last few months on topics relevant to company secretaries. These can be accessed here <<link to Blogs>>

Connect with us

I would urge you visit the webpage and to connect with us through our LinkedIn page: LinkedIn Page

Calendar of Events

A calendar of events is available through the ‘networking and events’ tab of the website. I would encourage members to attend as many events as possible and to become an active member of the ICSA in Ireland. Please note that these events are also open to non-members so if you have any colleagues or friends who may be interested in attending, please urge them to come along.
