Law Reform Commission Publishes paper on consolidation and online publication of legislation

27 January 2017

The paper discusses how legislation is currently made available publicly and examines what additional steps can be made that would make legislation in its up-to-date form more easily available, especially online.

The paper identifies 5 key areas and then asks related questions on which the Commission is seeking views so it can prepare a final report with recommendations.  Please refer to the press release and if a member would like to make a submission on this piece, contact Salvador Nash, Chairman of the Company Law & Regulatory Committee, to co-ordinate an Institute response in advance of 24 February 2017.
