Sarah Colgan is CEO at the creative agency Along Came A Spider, which she established with Heather Thornton in order to generate ideas with purpose. In addition to working with bluechip clients such as AIG, Google, Investec and Kerrygold, the agency created the recent Focus Ireland ‘Moving Day’ campaign for family homelessness.
Sarah began her career at MTV in London after graduating from Trinity College Dublin. She went on to produce and develop new television formats for the BBC in London and later RTÉ at home.
In 2018, Along Came A Spider founded 20x20, a national initiative championing women in sport. She is adamant that by increasing the visibility of women’s sport, whether through increased coverage, attendances or participation, women in sport will become a greater part of our culture.
She lives in Dublin and is married with three children.
