There is a perceived lack of clarity in fund manager remuneration
The average compensation cost per employee at global asset management firms was estimated to stand at £170,000 in 2014 (a rise of 22% over eight years). It is not surprising that concerns have been raised about salaries when the average UK employee is thought to earn in the region of £26,000 a year.
