Nick Folland is one of a small team tasked with turning around the Co-operative Group after its recent high profile governance failures. He joined Co-op in May 2013 as its crisis began to unfold and is now Chief External Affairs Officer. As both a trained lawyer and an experienced company secretary, he speaks to Governance + Compliance magazine about how the organisation is moving forward, his thoughts on the co-operative model and the importance of the company secretary.
