Emerging best practices - lessons learned from a crisis
The way we operate within the boardroom has been tested in the last few months, and governance professionals have been under pressure to ensure board effectiveness in a time of extreme global uncertainty. Some governance practises were able to survive the crisis, whilst others failed to adapt and were discarded. New challenges also emerged with to which answers still need to be found.
We responded by conducting in-depth interviews with company secretaries, general counsel, chairs, and chief executives to hear what they learned, what went well and poorly, and what ‘teachable moments’ are emerging.
Our panel, hosted by Dineshi Ramesh of Board Intelligence, which includes Peter Swabey, Policy & Research Director at The Chartered Governance Institute, Robert Swannell, Chairman of UK Government Investments Limited and Andrew Kakabadse, Professor of Governance and Strategic Leadership at the UK’s Henley Business School, to look across a range of issues raised in the research:
Join us for this webinar in which we distil our research, and share valuable insights on emerging best practises that can inform governance professionals in their crucial role to lead their boards into the post-COVID-19 landscape.
