Changing the narrative – Sustaining a corporate culture

Charting a new way for organisations to engage with employees

Overview

Remote working and increasing economic uncertainty continue to challenge corporate culture. The effort involved in keeping staff aligned with a mission can highlight good practices, as well as flaws and inadequacies.

Given that culture reflects leadership, understanding and shaping corporate behaviour is the board’s responsibility. It is imperative that boards identify their cultural drivers and governance challenges to find new ways to engage with their employees.

Join our panel as they discuss:

  • How one in four British employees could continue working from home permanently after COVID-19
  • The need to identify other key trends impacting employee engagement and corporate culture, and what the role of the board is in responding to these trends
  • How remote working can continue to create new corporate structures
  • What lessons can be learnt from organisations who have been able to successfully build new corporate cultures during the crisis
  • How boards can reinforce their organisational values and adapt their leadership styles post-pandemic
  • How the ’hybrid workplace’ will challenge organisations in the years ahead
