Environmental, social and (corporate) governance (ESG) has been on the agenda for decades. With the fifth anniversary of the Paris Agreement on climate change last year, organisations are reflecting on how this was the catalyst needed for significant change. This is especially the case as the global economy recovers from the events of the last 12 months.
2020 marked the deadline for signatory countries to submit their plans to reduce greenhouse emissions, which has led to greater stakeholder scrutiny on climate issues as well as on businesses’ impact on society more widely. With calls for real and lasting change, our panel discussions will provide insight into what other organisations are implementing and how they measure success.
