Adeline has 15 years of experience directing, coordinating and reconciling investment and corporate strategies with a focus on sustainability, translating them into unique business propositions. She has been exploring how such considerations redefine industries’ landscapes and influence investment decisions across asset classes and markets. She led such efforts for leading financial institutions including the World Bank, HSBC and Aviva Investors (Global asset managers), APG Investments (Dutch asset owner) GLG Partners (London-based hedge fund) and Barclays (Investment Bank).
In addition to her investment role, in her career Adeline has been actively involved in the public policy debate - mostly on climate investing and sustainable capitalism. She has presented at the UN General Assembly and the World Economic Forum on numerous occasions. She has also been part of several investor-led initiatives including the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), but also collaborative engagement to harness capital to drive change.
In her non-for-profit work she has had several commitments with the Zoological Society of London to work on ca conservation issue, and the English National Opera to work on social inclusion projects. She has also been a fervent supporter of social entrepreneurship working closely with incubators such as Unreasonable Impact.
Before joining the world of finance, she worked as a foreign affairs analyst on Capitol Hill in Washington DC working on geopolitical issues, which are increasingly linked to sustainability and thematic investing.
She holds an MBA in Finance and International Management from HEC Paris and the University of Minnesota and a BA in Economics and International Affairs. She is French-Lebanese and lives in London.
