Scarlett is taking part in a panel debate Purpose beyond profit: What’s the business case? at 11.45 on Day One.
Scarlett an experienced social researcher passionate about encouraging organisations to function better and have a social impact. She is director of research at Tomorrow’s Company, a non-profit think tank that works to inspire and enable business to be a force for good in society.
They are currently undergoing an inquiry into how businesses navigate and establish Truth, Trust, and Transparency as well as research and innovation projects into mental health in the workplace and tackling in-work poverty.
Scarlett has a PhD in Management and Business Research from King’s College London, where she studied gender difference in how non-executive directors are appointed. Previously Scarlett was a Senior Governance Analyst at Grant Thornton Governance Institute and co-authored their annual Corporate Governance Review.
