Susan Fadil FCIS

Susan has over 25 years experience as a Chartered Secretary and is currently a self-employed Corporate Governance Consultant. Prior to this her career has been working for professional service firms such as Mayer Brown International LLP, TMF Group Ltd and most recently PWC LLP leading teams of various sizes in the delivery of advisory corporate governance and company secretarial services to a wide range of clients. Her focus in recent years has been on listed entities in particular managing several fit for listing governance reviews and implementation of corporate governance frameworks together with post listing advisory services on embedding procedures and policies into an organisation, which has included board and committee meeting support and executive training.

During her time at TMF Group, Susan was a member of the UK Exco with responsibility for the development of strategic direction of the UK business and implementation of the strategic plan, risk management and control.

During 2016, Susan was a member of the ICSA working party which developed an industry standard share dealing code, post implementation of the new Market Abuse Regime. She regularly presents at forums on the trust and transparency agenda related to corporate governance and the new corporate reporting requirements such as the Modern Day Slavery Act, Gender Pay Gap Reporting, Prompt Payment Reporting and EU Directive on Disclosure of Non-Financial Reporting.

She has also been on the committee of the Association of Women Chartered Secretaries and a school governor. Susan has been a Fellow since 1997.
