Paul Smith FCG, Guernsey Branch Chair

Paul Smith FCG, Branch Chair

Paul has over 30 years experience within the finance sector and has held board positions with HSBC, RBSI and BNP Paribas in Guernsey. Prior to joining JTC, he was Managing Director of RMB Investment Services Limited and brings with him a wealth of experience in the provision of fund administration services.

Paul is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Paul has gained an MSc in Corporate Governance and Administration and is a Fellow of the Institute of Secretaries.

Danielle McIver, Guernsey Vice Chair

Danielle McIver FCG, Vice-Chair

Danielle has spent the best part of the last decade specialising in private wealth structuring and administration, also gaining company secretarial, custody, funds and marine services experience. Danielle is a Chartered Secretary and holds a Masters Degree in Corporate Governance. She is also a member of the Securities Institute.

Danielle is responsible for new business operations and development for the Guernsey office, as well as overseeing the office's Middle East administration team.

Kate Lenfestey, Guernsey Secretary

Kate Lenfestey ACG, Secretary

Kate is Head of University Programmes at the GTA University Centre, as well as being the company secretary and fulfilling the HR function for the organisation. She joined the GTA in 2003 after spending ten years working in an HR function within the States of Guernsey.

Kate holds a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Chichester, is an Associate of ICSA, has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Marketing with the University of Southampton.

Nikolett Mezei, Guernsey Student Representative

Nikolett Mezei, Student Representative

Niki was born and raised in Hungary and relocated to Guernsey in 2007 to focus on a career in the offshore financial services industry.

Having held a number of key positions, Niki joined Carey in November 2014. She works in the Corporate Team and is responsible for the delivery of governance and company secretarial services to a number of unique structures including property investment companies and also companies listed on the London Stock Exchange and Alternative Investment Market (“AIM”). Niki currently looks after three of Carey’s larger and more prestigious clients. Niki was also involved in a Luxembourg listed bond issue in January 2018 for an AIM listed client and worked closely with all stakeholders.

She holds the ICSA Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration and the ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration (received a prize for “Best Performance in Offshore Trust & Company Administration” at the July 2013 examination session). Niki also received the ICSA Guernsey “Company Secretary of the Year” award in 2017.
