Barbados Morning Seminar - Future of Governance

Date: Tuesday 17 October 2017

Simon Osborne FCG, CEO of the The Chartered Governance Institute UKRIAT division, discussed the latest thinking and developments on the future of governance, followed by a discussion on how this may impact the governance in Barbados.

The meeting closed with Theresa Minnie, The Chartered Governance Institute Head of Outreach, updating you on the forthcoming changes to the Chartered Secretaries Qualifying Scheme.

The Chartered Governance Institute has recently been looking at the minuting of meetings and we were struck by the changes in practice that have developed over time.
Attendees joined The Chartered Governance Institute Head of Membership and Outreach, Theresa Minnie and Tricor Caribbean Ltd. Managing Director, Connie Smith as they discussed updates from The Institute and outlined the new guidance.
