Taking ethics seriously: by setting up board committees?

Publicly listed businesses in the FTSE 350 are beginning to take the issue of advising the boardroom on ethics, values and sustainability seriously enough to deal with it in a systematic way: by setting up committees with published terms of reference. There are 55 companies that have done this, according to a new survey by the U.K. Institute of Business Ethics (IBE).

The survey, revealed this morning by ICSA: The Governance Institute on the second day of its annual corporate governance conference in London, was carried out with the support of Mazars.
