Good governance and accountability are key themes of ICSA’s autumn conference

It can be hard to achieve, however, which is why ICSA: The Governance Institute will be exploring some of the key governance challenges faced by multi-academy trust boards at its 2018 Academy Governance Conference at the Hallam Conference Centre in London on 5 October. Brexit fears lessen but gloom about UK economy remains, latest Boardroom Bellwether survey finds

Boards lack confidence in the UK economy despite reduced concerns over Brexit according to a survey of FTSE 350 companies out today by ICSA: The Governance Institute. UK boards are also preoccupied with risk, boardroom diversity and the gender pay gap, with the number of boards not seen as gender diverse rising and 69% of companies looking to reduce the gender pay gap.
