How Long Does Qualification Take?
Due to the flexibility of study options available, there is no set timeframe in which the status of Chartered Secretary is achieved. This said, if you start from the Certificate level you should allow four to five years to qualify. If you come onto the scheme at the Diploma Stage it’s likely to take you three to four years to achieve the status of Chartered Secretary. And if you start at the Professional Programme stage qualification typically takes between one and three years.
