Variety of Study
The ICSA offer a number of Certificate Level programmes. These are usually run by external education institutions that provide the tuition and set the exam. The ICSA moderates the programmes and awards an ICSA Certificate to those who pass. Most students who take these do so because they are working in niche areas. These specialist Certificates can be taken by individuals who are keen to develop their knowledge in particular areas and there is no expectation that they will go on to qualify to become Chartered Secretaries.
