ICSA affiliateship is open to anyone engaged with effecting and promoting the highest governance and compliance standards in organisations. Affiliateship is ideal for you if you wish to be involved with the Institute but do not want to study to be a Chartered Secretary. Find out more about the benefits you will receive as an affiliate.

How much does affiliateship cost?

The annual affiliateship fee is as follows:

Full fee: £150 + VAT

Reduced fee: £75 + VAT

The reduced fee is available for those working in third sector organisations. This includes charities (registered and non-registered), social enterprises, voluntary and community groups, non-profit organisations, mutuals, co-operatives and all non-governmental organisations whose primary aim is the pursuit of a public or community benefit over that of profit. Proof of employment in one of these types of organisation should be submitted with your application along with proof that your organisation operates on a not-for-profit basis.

How to apply for affiliateship

We welcome applications for affiliateship if you are actively engaged in or considering a career in areas related to governance, whether in business, public sector, the NHS or not-for-profit organisations; or if you simply have an interest in the work of ICSA.

If you are applying for the reduced rate you will need to apply via our paper application form.
