What We Do

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) is the professional qualifying body for company secretaries. ICSA works closely with governmental and regulatory bodies to promote and support best practice in all areas of corporate governance and, through its subsidiary companies, provides information and training, boardroom evaluation and software.

Draft regulations

September 2007:The deadline on the draft regulations consultation has now passed. The ICSA response can be found here

Secondary legislation

On 28 February 2007, the Dti published a Consultative document on secondary legislation in the Companies Act 2006. For further details and the Government's response to the consultation click here. This initial consultation is now closed.
