'Companies should be held to account on diversity' says ICSA

 12 October 2011: Commenting on proposed changes to the UK Corporate Governance Code to encourage disclosure on diversity Seamus Gillen, ICSA’s Policy Director said ‘We are pleased that the FRC is taking steps to implement Lord Davies' recommendations.  In our evidence to his review we stressed the importance of disclosure in annual reports as one of the most effective ways for driving change in this area.  It is important for companies to be held to account on diversity issues by shareholders and other stakeholders.’
